We have had to face the facts that, in order to realize our overall goal of reestablishing the importance and prominence of U.S. Manufacturing, we had to diversify our focus from Government (both direct and via subcontracts) to include the commercial market.
Our challenges in dealing with the Government procurement buracacy left us with disappointing results. We found, much to our disappointment, that utilizing U.S. based manufacturing was not a driving concern. Without going into the painful details, we determined that, in order to affect change, we had to also focus on the commercial market, those markets that are directly effected by the U.S. consumer and individual.
We have not given up on the Government market, but realize that this business is too far removed from normal Americans, and that ordinary Americans have little affect on these companies and organizations.
Our Commercial Division is not focused on being “Protectionist”, but rather on creating a level Global playing field, and giving the American Consumer a Choice. Currently Americans do not have a choice to buy “American” as we are all hard pressed to find anything that is actually manufactured in the United States.
We have watched as foreign made products have destroyed our manufacturing industry, our communities, our independence, and have put the safety of ourselves and our children at risk. This is from both a consumer and national security prospective.
The solution is for all of us to take responsibility and do our part in reversing the problem.
